THINK+feel Conteporary photographer Katerina Belkina's solo exhibition at theInternational Photobiennial Ostend 2025 showcases her fairy tales inspired series Dream Walkers admired by story telling and light. Katerina's solo exhibit showcases her captivating series Dream Walkers. Fairy tales are constant in all cultures, mirror and solidify societal norms through their archetypal elements. Belkina's images occupy a unique space between the written and oral traditions of storytelling. While they beautifully visualize the narrative, they do not confine the viewer's imagination. Instead, they encourage a deeper engagement, inviting us to become "Dream Walkers" ourselves. In a time when cultural identity is a central topic, Belkina’s art offers a vital common ground, making her work both historically resonant and highly relevant to contemporary discourse.
