THINK + feel Conteporary artists at Nord Art

We are pleased to announce that two of our artists, Katerina Belkina and Michal Jackowski have been hand-picked to present their work at Nord Art, a prestigious international art exhibition has developed into one of the largest annual contemporary art shows in Europe in less than a quarter of a century.

Hundreds of artworks from all over the world have been brought together to create a collective narrative that maps the current dreams and concerns of humanity. From 3 June to 8 October 2023, NordArt will host the curated works by almost 200 artists.

Nord Art takes place in Budelsdorf, northern Germany at the site of the historic iron foundry in Schleswig Holstein. Apart from the wonderful large museum-size exhibition Nord Art offers to its visitors special projects and multi-media events.

Each year, Nord Art selects a focus country; this year, a deeper insight is given into the art of Türkiye. Under the special project Country in Focus 2023, Turkish Pavillion presents works by 17 artists.

Michał Jackowski, winner of the Public Choice Award at NordArt 2022, has returned this year with a special project conceived specifically for the exhibition Antique Games. The project is a visual account of a contemporary culture dominated by consumerism. In a curious game of morality, juxtaposing ancient art forms with 20th-century pop culture, Jackowski raises questions about universal values and laws.

Katerina Belkina, a Nord Art perennial is exhibiting large format photographs from her latest series For All Mankind.

Featured are works presented exhibited at Nord Art - sculptures by Michal Jackowski ( Empty Gold, Sticky Pink and Yesterday) and images from the series For All Mankind by Katerina Belkina.
