OPENING RECEPTION: Faces of War - Ukrainian Refugees, September 24, 2022 at 7 pm at Andy Gato Gallery, Barry University, Miami, FL

The exhibition brings to our audience documentary evidence of the Ukrainian refugee crisis at the border between Ukraine and Slovakia in the wake of the Russian invasion.

Ukrainian refugee crisis (Slovak border) - an exhibition of photographs by Jan Stovka

To raise awareness about the current situation at the Ukrainian-Slovak border we decided to organize an impromptu exhibition of works by a renown Slovak photographer, Jan Stovka who has been documenting the flood of Ukrainian refugees to Slovakia. Jan spent last few weeks at the Slovak-Ukrainian border capturing inevitable consequences of the war - Ukrainian refugees flight from their war-torn homeland. Emotionally charged, these photographs are mute witnesses of the horrors of the ongoing war.

Stanislav Azarov’s Industrial Landscapes exhibition opens at the Seven Winds Foundation

We are happy to present a new artist, Stanislav Azarov, who has recently joined our gallery’s roster. His inaugural 2022 solo exhibition just opened at the Seven Winds Charitable Foundation in Volgograd, Russia. The exhibition Industrial Landscapes encompasses paintings and graphics created by the artist in 2020-2021; it represents a completely separate and so far publicly unknown aspect of Azarov’s work.

THINK+feel Contemporary is excited to announce release of a new book for children The Love Quest illustrated by Anna Silivonchik. A story of a boy’s journey to find the meaning of love was published by Penn Daly Publishing on April 29, 2020.

The story in verse was written by Arnie Weiss, a newcomer to the genre of children’s book. For Anna, it is another milestone in her career. Anna has illustrated a number of children’s classics such as A. de Saint-Exupery’s the Little Prince and L. Carroll’s Alice in the Wonderland in Russian translation. The LOVE QUEST It is her first English-language book on the US market. The book can be purchased on Amazon.com.

THINK+feel Contemporary long-expected exhbition DNA: Divine Nature Awakens opens in Prague

The exhibition project organized by the Miami gallery THINK + feel Contemporary entitled DNA / Divine Nature Awakens presents a pair of renowned Slovak artists Matúš Lányi (1981) and Ján Zelinka (1978) in Prague. The THINK + feel Contemporary Gallery in Miami has long aimed to raise awareness of artists from Central Europe and has successfully represented artists from the region, including Czech Republic and Slovakia in the United States.

As the title of the exhibition suggests, these are two young visual artists working with natural materials and the natural / divine order of time and life.
