Reality of Abstraction exhibition featuring Martin Moflar and Filip Svehla opens November 15

THINK+feel Contemporary is pleased to present exhibition Reality of Abstraction featuring two Central European artists in dialog - Martin Molfar (Slovakia) and Filip Svehla (Czech Republic) The exhibition is the artists’ second side-by-side presentation. It follows on the success of their recent large-scale exposition Anywhere Between Black & White that took place earlier this year (April - September) at Artium in Prague, Czech Republic.

Though significantly scaled-down, our more intimate presentation nevertheless offers a significant opportunity for US audiences to glean the reason why these two artists present the best the European abstract art has to offer.

The exhibition is scheduled to open November 15 with a reception and will be on display through the winter of 2025-26 at the 400 South Pointe Gallery on Miami Beach. For more information please contact the gallery.

Anywhere Between Black & White: Martin Moflár & Filip Švehla’s exhibition opens in Prague

Artium by KKCG in collaboration with THINK+feel Contemporary present Martin Moflár and Filip Švehla’s exhibition Anywhere Between Black & White.

TFC Gallery is delighted to announce the upcoming exhibition Anywhere Between Black & White, a captivating dialogue in abstraction featuring the distinct yet harmonizing works of represented artists Martin Moflár and Filip Švehla. The exhibition opens at Artium by KKCG in Prague on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m.

This marks the first time Moflár and Švehla, both THINK+feel Contemporary artists, are presented together, united by a shared fascination with the evocative power of color and a commitment to abstract minimalist expression. The exhibition thoughtfully juxtaposes Martin Moflár's monumental canvases and uniquely shaped paintings with Filip Švehla's vibrant and meticulously crafted foil collages, created specifically for Artium.

Curated by Jan Čejka, Anywhere Between Black & White invites viewers to explore the nuanced interplay between form, color, and space in contemporary abstract art.
